Type specimen: PRI 4472, a shell. Its type locality is Danville Landing, which is in a Priabonian marginal marine marl in the Moodys Branch Formation of Louisiana.

Ecology: slow-moving semi-infaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (5: Louisiana, Mississippi collections)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
