Type specimen: MfN MB.C.31289, a shell. Its type locality is South-east of Gara el Itima, 31.5 km east-northeast of Taouz, which is in an Asbian marine horizon in the Zrigat Formation of Morocco.

Distribution: found only at South-east of Gara el Itima, 31.5 km east-northeast of Taouz
