Sister taxa: Libys polypterus, Libys superbus
Type specimen: NMBE 5034072/3, a skeleton. Its type locality is Les Pueys, Teysachaux, which is in a Falciferum marine lime mudstone in the Staldengraben Formation of Switzerland.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Les Pueys, Teysachaux
