Type specimen: LM-FCEN 3436, a carapace. Its type locality is Cerro Azul CA 21, which is in a Danian marine siltstone in the Jagüel Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-grazer

Distribution: found only at Cerro Azul CA 21
