Type specimen: LM-FCEN 3488, a carapace. Its type locality is Cerro Azul CA 16, which is in a Danian marine siltstone in the Jagüel Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore-grazer

• Paleocene of Argentina (3 collections)
• Cretaceous of Argentina (1)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
