Belongs to Lyosoma according to C. S. Cataldo 2017
Sister taxa: Lyosoma enoda, Lyosoma powelli, Lyosoma squamosa, Otostoma (Lyosoma) japonica
Type specimen: CPBA 21364, a shell. Its type locality is Arroyo Truquico, which is in a Valanginian transition zone/lower shoreface shale in the Agrio Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: epifaunal omnivore-grazer
Distribution: found only at Arroyo Truquico
