Sister taxa: Exelissa (Teliochilus), Exelissa distans, Exelissa solitudinis
Type specimen: CPBA 21293.6, a shell. Its type locality is Bajada Vieja (La Tosca Member, Huitrin Formation), which is in a Barremian shallow subtidal limestone/wackestone in the Huitrin Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of Argentina (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
