Type specimen: MAU-Pv-LI-595, a partial skeleton (complete skull, axial sequence from the atlas to the last sacral element, and both ilia). Its type locality is La Invernada (Bajo de la Carpa), which is in a Santonian fluvial horizon in the Bajo de la Carpa Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at La Invernada (Bajo de la Carpa)
