Type specimen: UCMP V-12506, a mandible (The anterior part of a left mandibular ramus with a broken lower incisor; p4 and m1 intact.). Its type locality is Thousand Creek, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in Nevada.

• Hemphillian of United States (2: Nebraska, Nevada collections)
