Type specimen: UMMP 52874, a maxilla (fragmentary palate with partial left and right toothrows). Its type locality is Norden Bridge Quarry, which is in a Barstovian channel sandstone in the Valentine Formation of Nebraska.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of Canada (2: Saskatchewan collections), United States (19: Nebraska, South Dakota)

Total: 21 collections each including a single occurrence
