Type specimen: UAPC 6185, a wing. Its type locality is Joffre Bridge (site 5), which is in a Tiffanian lacustrine - small siltstone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution:
• Paleocene of Canada (2: Alberta collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
