Type specimen: KYFSI209, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Shiobara, Shiobara-machi, Tochigi Prefecture (KYFSI collection), which is in a Pleistocene crater lake mudstone in the Miyajima Formation of Japan.

Distribution: found only at Shiobara, Shiobara-machi, Tochigi Prefecture (KYFSI collection)
