Type specimen: UIGM2004, a shell. Its type locality is Ramsheh (Lower Red Formation), which is in a Rupelian carbonate limestone in the Lower Red Formation of Iran.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Ramsheh (Lower Red Formation)
