Type specimen: USNM PAL 622159, a wing. Its type locality is Kishenehn (Greenwalt collection), which is in a Lutetian lacustrine - large shale in the Kishenehn Formation of Montana.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Kishenehn (Greenwalt collection)
