Sister taxa: Ectobius balticus, Ectobius glabellus, Ectobius inclusus, Ectobius kohlsi
Type specimen: NHMD-624757, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Musholm Bugt, Storebælt (ZMUC/NHMD Collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Denmark.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Baltic Amber, Musholm Bugt, Storebælt (ZMUC/NHMD Collection)
