Sister taxa: Centrodeania perchensis, Centrodeania rugosa
Type specimen: NHMW/2023/0120/0005, a tooth. Its type locality is Waidach, near Nussdorf, horizon 9, which is in a Danian carbonate marl in the Oiching Formation of Austria.
