Type specimen: UA 3596, a tooth (Lp4). Its type locality is Trochu (KUA-1), which is in a Lancian terrestrial claystone/siltstone in the Scollard Formation of Canada.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution:
• Paleocene of United States (7: Colorado, Montana, Wyoming collections)
• Cretaceous of Canada (4: Alberta, Saskatchewan), United States (14: Montana, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming)
Total: 25 collections each including a single occurrence
