Type specimen: BT 011224.00, a skeleton (Nearly complete, threedimensionally preserved, and partly articulated skeleton). Its type locality is Mistelgau fossil pit, which is in a Toarcian offshore marl in the Jurensismergel Formation of Germany.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Mistelgau fossil pit
