Type specimen: LACM (CIT) 2685, a partial skeleton (dentary fragments with RP4-M2 and LM2-M3, R metacarpal III, L metacarpal IV , L metatarsal III-IV , and proximal phalanx). Its type locality is Warm Springs, which is in an Arikareean terrestrial sandstone/tuff in the John Day Formation of Oregon.
