Type specimen: PIMUZ A/III 1274, a skeleton. Its type locality is Ducanfurgga 4, which is in a Fassanian basinal (carbonate) lime mudstone in the Prosanto Formation of Switzerland.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Ducanfurgga 4
