Type specimen: IVPP V19049, a skeleton. Its type locality is Luoping area, upper member of Guanling Formation limestone (middle Anisian), which is in a Pelsonian marine limestone in the Guanling Formation of China.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Luoping area, upper member of Guanling Formation limestone (middle Anisian)
