Type specimen: MCP6726, a shell. Its type locality is Sample M16, Pian dei Fiacconi, Marmolada, which is in an Illyrian open shallow subtidal limestone in the Sciliar Formation of Italy.

Ecology: epifaunal detritivore

Distribution: found only at Sample M16, Pian dei Fiacconi, Marmolada
