Type specimen: IGL:IGM:1941, a shell. Its type locality is Mina El Consuela, 14.3 km SSW of Heroica Villa Tezoatlán de Segura y Luna, which is in a Callovian marine horizon in the Capas con Reineckeia Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Mina El Consuela, 14.3 km SSW of Heroica Villa Tezoatlán de Segura y Luna
