Type specimen: Plate 9, figs. 10, 11 (sample R1011B, slide 2, coordinates 37.5 x 101.8), a microspore. Its type locality is R1011B, which is in a Turonian/Coniacian pond siliciclastic in the Raritan Formation of New Jersey.
