Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: PIMUZ A/III 5279, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Oberegg north of Auenstein, which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian deep subtidal marl in the Hauptrogenstein Formation of Switzerland.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Oberegg north of Auenstein
