Type specimen: IPB-WAPPLER-1a, b, an exoskeleton (worker ant). Its type locality is Apomarma, which is in a Messinian basinal (siliceous) mudstone in the Varvara Formation of Greece.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Apomarma
