Type specimen: UMMP 41396, a tooth (right M1). Its type locality is Saw Rock Canyon (Lower), which is in a Blancan terrestrial horizon in the Rexroad Formation of Kansas.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution:

• Blancan of United States (4: California, Kansas collections)

• Hemphillian of Mexico (1), United States (3: Nebraska)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
