Type specimen: UA14316 (complete articulated carapace). Its type locality is Close to the highway (south side), west of Jorf, near Erfoud, which is in an Eifelian deep subtidal wackestone/mudstone in Morocco.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Close to the highway (south side), west of Jorf, near Erfoud
