Sister taxon: Cativolcus prokopi
Type specimen: BE-RBINS-ENT-AMBER-IG-34605, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Belgian amber, Orp-le-Grand, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial amber in the Tienen Formation of Belgium.

Distribution: found only at Belgian amber, Orp-le-Grand
