Type specimen: USNM 127156, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Horizon 9.2. Half Moon Pass, Big Snowy Mountains, which is in a Marjumian marine horizon in the Pilgrim Formation of Montana.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Horizon 9.2. Half Moon Pass, Big Snowy Mountains
