Type specimen: F:AM 63316, a partial skull (maxillary and mandible fragments). Its type locality is Dickinson Member (Woodland), which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Brule Formation of North Dakota.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore
Distribution:
• Oligocene of United States (3: Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota collections)
Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
