Type specimen: IITR/VPL/SB 3102-1-21, a partial skeleton (partial vertebral column). Its type locality is Panandhro Lignite Mine [Naredi Fm.], which is in a Lutetian mire/swamp shale in the Naredi Formation of India.

Distribution: found only at Panandhro Lignite Mine [Naredi Fm.]
