Type specimen: MM Pa1, a partial skull (Almost complete skull, lacking the anterior portion of the cranium and mandible, with the associated atlas-axis complex and third cervical vertebra.). Its type locality is Tongrube Sachsenhagen, which is in a Berriasian/Valanginian offshore claystone in Germany.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Tongrube Sachsenhagen
