Type specimen: NHMUK PV R36822, a partial skeleton (partly articulated anterior skeleton and associated partial skull and lower jaws). Its type locality is Cromhall Quarry general, which is in a Carnian fissure fill limestone/mudstone in the United Kingdom.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Cromhall Quarry general
