Type specimen: OU 22268, a partial skeleton (semi-articulated partial skeleton). Its type locality is Island Cliff Site, which is in a Duntroonian offshore limestone in the Kokoamu Greensand Formation of New Zealand.
Ecology: nektonic omnivore
Distribution: found only at Island Cliff Site
