Type specimen: MGPT-PU 19915, a partial skull (posterolateral corners of the skull (including parts of both squamosals, as well as exoccipital and periotics) and a proximal fragment of a mandibular ramus). Its type locality is Asti (general), which is in a Piacenzian coastal sandstone in the Sabbie di Asti Formation of Italy.
Ecology: aquatic carnivore-suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Asti (general)
