Type specimen: MLP-73-IV-15-1, a partial skull (Rostrum with articulated fragments of premaxillae, maxillae, nasals, left lacrymal and a partial braincase). Its type locality is Parana, Pueblo Brugo to Diamante, Ituzaingo Fm., which is in a Huayquerian marine sandstone/mudstone in the Ituzaingo Formation of Argentina.
