Type specimen: MGWUW ZI/57/215/a–b, a skeleton (part and counterpart of a well pre- served, nearly complete articulated skeleton). Its type locality is Jamna Dolna, which is in a Rupelian marine shale in the Menilite Formation of Poland.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Jamna Dolna
