Type specimen: JQ-HX-QW-01, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Yumen City, Jiuquan, which is in an Albian/Albian lacustrine - large shale in the Zhonggou Formation of China.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at Yumen City, Jiuquan
