Type specimen: MPUM 13474, a carapace. Its type locality is Scudo Tremare, bed 48, Northern Grigna Mountain, which is in a Fassanian basinal (carbonate) limestone in the Buchenstein Formation of Italy.
Ecology: nektobenthic omnivore
Distribution: found only at Scudo Tremare, bed 48, Northern Grigna Mountain
