Type specimen: NIGPAS 171265, a carapace. Its type locality is Majiashan quarry, bed 605, which is in a Spathian basinal (siliciclastic) mudstone in the Nanlinghu Formation of China.
Ecology: nektobenthic omnivore
Distribution: found only at Majiashan quarry, bed 605
