Type specimen: IRSNB P 9974, an otolith (sagitta). Its type locality is Weches Formation, Texas, which is in a Lutetian offshore horizon in the Weches Formation of Texas.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (5: Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, Virginia collections)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
