Type specimen: ONM CBI-1-645, a maxilla (right maxilla). Its type locality is Jebel Chambi, which is in a Ypresian/Lutetian lacustrine limestone in the Chambi Formation of Tunisia.
Ecology: fossorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at Jebel Chambi
