Type specimen: ASIZF 0100606, an otolith. Its type locality is Tianliao Site 5, Kaohsiung (sandstone), which is in a Pliocene offshore shelf sandstone in the Gutingkeng Formation of Taiwan.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore
