Type specimen: IRSNB P 10766, an otolith (sagitta). Its type locality is Nanjemoy Fm., Potapaco M., Virginia, which is in a Ypresian offshore sandstone in the Nanjemoy Formation of Virginia.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (5: Alabama, Maryland, Mississippi, Virginia collections)

Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
