Type specimen: VQ-G1 1800, a mandible (right mandible lacking angular apophysis and tip of coronoid process, with incisor and m1–2). Its type locality is Vaquería Gruta 1, which is in a Holocene terrestrial horizon in Argentina.

Ecology: semifossorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Vaquería Gruta 1
