Type specimen: GLAHM 163391, a carapace. Its type locality is Polkemmet Colliery, Whitburn, which is in a Westphalian A fluvial-lacustrine shale in the Scottish Lower Coal Measures Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: epifaunal omnivore
Distribution: found only at Polkemmet Colliery, Whitburn
