Type specimen: MPEF-PV 11530, a partial skeleton (a partial cranium (with counterslab) and two associated teeth, four dorsal vertebrae, one metacarpal (either I, II or III) and other bone fragments). Its type locality is Queso Rallado, near Cerro Cóndor, which is in a Toarcian/Toarcian lacustrine mudstone in the Cañadón Asfalto Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Queso Rallado, near Cerro Cóndor
