Type specimen: UOMNH F-63632, a mandible (R dentary with p4–m3). Its type locality is McKay Reservoir, which is in a Hemphillian pond sandstone in the McKay Formation of Oregon.

Ecology: semifossorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at McKay Reservoir
