Type specimen: BMM 3770A/B, a skeleton (A complete eel-like slender body specimen, pre- serving the head, body and tail.). Its type locality is Naizi Mountain, which is in a Cretaceous delta plain shale/sandstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Naizi Mountain
